Mommy + Me - -May 2023


Hey everyone,


I've got a story to share that's all about love, laughter, and a whole lot of golden moments. So grab your favorite cozy blanket and settle in for a tale that's sure to warm your heart.


It all started on a cloudy day in Redlands, CA—a charming little city with its own special kind of magic. I've known this mama and her son since 2017, and let me tell you, they hold a special place in my heart. There's just something about their bond that's so pure and genuine—it's the kind of connection you can't help but admire.


Now, picture this: the forecast called for rain, and boy, did it deliver. We're talking days of non-stop showers, gray skies, the whole shebang. But you know what they say—every cloud has a silver lining. And in this case, it was a literal silver lining, because those cloudy skies set the stage for the most epic sunset I've ever seen.


As we ventured out for our mommy and me session, I have to admit, I was a little nervous. Would the weather cooperate? Would we miss out on that golden hour glow? But you know what they say about worrying—it's like a rocking chair. It gives you something to do, but it doesn't get you anywhere.


And boy, am I glad I didn't waste any time worrying, because just when I thought all hope was lost, the clouds parted, and the sun made a grand entrance. I'm talking rays of golden light painting the sky in hues of pink, orange, and everything in between. It was like something out of a dream.


And there they were, this beautiful mama and her sweet son, basking in the glow of that golden sunset. It was a moment I'll never forget—the love, the laughter, the pure joy of being together. It's moments like these that remind me why I do what I do.


You see, folks, I'm not just a family photographer in Southern California's Inland Empire. I'm a storyteller, a memory maker, a collector of moments. And being able to capture moments like these, moments filled with love and connection—that's what it's all about.
