Visiting Happy Dog Resort in Redlands: Where Dogs Live Their Best Life

I love when my job lets me explore businesses that feel like a perfect match for my style: real, warm, full of purpose. Recently I got to tour Happy Dog Resort in Redlands and snap some photos of their space, and wow...it did not disappoint. If you have a pup (or know someone who does), this place is a gem in our Inland Empire community.

A Dog Resort Built from the Heart

Right away, you can tell Happy Dog isn’t just a kennel with cages. Their mission is clear: they built this from the heart as dog parents, for dog parents, with comfort, safety, and joy in mind. They offer premium dog lodging, a “resort-style” day camp, full grooming salon, private training, and more.

One thing that grabbed my attention was the 30,000 square feet of turfed play yards with lots of dog pool, splash pads, jungle gyms, misting systems, and shaded areas. Imagine your dog running, splashing, and lounging in that kind of space. They also have Pawgress Reports and live webcams, so you can watch your dog’s day. That transparency is something every pet parent wants.

Walking Through the Space

When I toured, I soaked up all the details. The play yards, the groom stations, the lodging areas, everything felt intentional. You could see how every space was designed for both fun and safety. I spent time photographing some pups on the turf at play, and quieter corners where a pup might rest or wait. One of the standout features is how open and airy much of the space is. It doesn’t feel cramped or closed off. That’s a big deal, especially for dogs and helping them feel natural and relaxed.

Why This Place Matters Locally

As a photographer that serves clients in the cities Redlands, Yucaipa, and Beaumont, I love supporting local businesses that invest in community and quality. Happy Dog Resort is more than just a business, it’s a resource for pet parents who want the best for their dogs. I think Happy Dog Resort stands out because of all the services they have available.

  • Their offerings are full service (lodging, grooming, training, day camp).
  • Their facility is expansive and thoughtfully designed.
  • They provide transparency (webcams, reports) so owners feel connected.
  • They treat dogs as individuals who deserve joy, space, and care.

When local businesses like this thrive, it lifts the whole community.

If you’re a local pet parent in Redlands, Yucaipa, or the Inland Empire, this is the spot for dog boarding, grooming, or just an epic day of play. I loved capturing all the happy faces and wagging tails, proof that dogs really do live their best life here.

With love & grace,
