Senior Portraits That Feel Like You - Inland Empire Photographer


There’s something so special about senior sessions. It’s this little pause in the whirlwind of finishing school, applying to colleges or jobs, and stepping into whatever’s next. A moment to capture the energy, the pride, and the personality of someone right on the edge of everything.


This session was one of my favorites. We met at a location in Redlands that I come back to again and again, mostly because of these soft white wildflowers that bloom in the brush throughout the year. They’re delicate and simple and somehow always show up exactly when I need them.


This beautiful senior showed up with all the good energy. She plays basketball, and she wanted to include her school jersey, her shoes, and her ball in the session—without making it the whole theme. That’s exactly the balance I love to strike. A nod to what you’ve worked hard for, mixed with soft, timeless portraits that still feel like you.


We got lucky with the light. It was that golden, warm, dreamy kind of evening that just wraps everything in a glow. And this girl totally shined. Confident, joyful, grounded. It was a session full of movement and grace, and we ended up with a gallery of images that felt thoughtful and beautiful without being overly posed.


Senior portraits don’t have to feel stiff or cookie cutter. When you work with me, it’s not about checking boxes, it’s about creating images that reflect who you are and where you’re going.
